My Pet Day Project

My Self Portrait.

The best images to use on our posts are ones we have created ourselves or our own photos. We have been using Google Drawing to create our own and have learnt how to use new tools to make a self portrait. We took a selfie and had to make sure we had our head and shoulders in the picture before we fitted it to the page. Next we used the polyline tool to draw around our face because it is the only line tool that you can colour in. This was tricky because it couldn’t make circles because it was a line tool. Next we had to match our skin colour and then we went into the custom tool so we could make our fill transparent. We did this so we could see our face through the colour. We used the magnifying tool to make it bigger so we could see our small eyes and mouth. I’m happy with the way my picture looks on my self portrait because it looks just like me. I will have to work on my eyebrows because I am not happy with them. Thank you for reading my blog post. Have you ever tried to draw your own self portrait? Safe Walking

Safe Walking Last week we went safe walking with Constable Jos. We needed to look 3 or 4 times before we walked across the road to make sure we were safe. We learned about pedestrian crossings and sneaky driveways. You should be in the middle of the footpath and not close to the kerb. Now I know how to keep myself safe. The end

My Adventure.

Last year when I went on holiday we went to Dunedin and Nelson. I went with my family. We went to the Moana Pool. It was fun because in the lazy river I swam up the river and the current was not so strong. Then they put on the waves. My dad helped me go to the deep end. The reason why we went to Nelson because mum had to get a award it was for the Saint Johns. We had to get a drink from the bathroom. Me and dad did 351 passes with a rugby ball. It was a fun week.
